1. Border Trade Centre , Sutarkandi
To facilitated the foreign trade , a Border Trade Centre has been constructed at Sutarkandi in Karimganj District along the Indo-Bangladesh Border in 2007. The Border Trade Centre is functioning and proposed to taken over by Land Port Authority of India to set up an Integrated Check Post (ICP).
2. Trade Facilitation Centre, Jagun
A Trade Facilitation Centre at Jagun in Tinsukia district has been constructed, along the historic Stilwell Road to facilitate Trade with neighbouring country Myanmar. The location is 16 km away from the Mynmar Border and it will help trade through the Stilwell road.
3. Border Trade Centre, Darranga
A Border Trade Centre at Darranga in Baksa district has been constructed along the Indo-Bhutan Border to facilitate Trade & Commerce with neighbouring country Bhutan . All the facilities have been created to provide support services to Exporters and Importers.
A common Facility Service Centre for Water Hyacinth has been constructed at Dolbari in Morigaon District to provide facilities for development of Water Hyacinth products. It has the common facilities, two hostels and one show room and inaugurated in the month of February, 2016.
To facilitate infrastructure facilities for historic fireworks activities of Barpeta district, a Fireworks village has been constructed at Gonok kuchi near Barpeta town. The village is now operational and all the units located in the Barpeta town would be shifted to infrastructure. The design of the village is as per the inputs of Explosive Rule.
To facilitate various crafts of Barpeta district , a Handicraft training Centre has been constructed at Industrial area Barpeta .
1. Marketing Infrastructure for Agricultural products
To facilitate the marketing infrastructure for agricultural produces, 6 locations have been identified and constructed six marketing infrastructure with the assistance under RIDF. The projects are under construction and completed soon. The list of projects with location is given below:
